I am a qualified Consultant Dermatologist on the specialist register having completed my specialist Dermatology training. I have a specialist interest in Skin Cancer diagnosis and treatments.

My interest in Dermatology started early on, having graduated from medical school. Through my direct experience with patients, I realised what could be perceived as a “minor skin problem” actually had a major impact on the patient’s quality of life. Whether patients present with excessive sweating, itchy eczema affecting their sleep, or psoriasis which keeps flaking causing embarrassment this all results in a negative effect on their self esteem. I understand, although such presentations are not life threatening, they interfere adversely in daily life. As I feel I can make a positive difference Dermatology is the specialty that I pursue.
