acne
Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples. Acne is most common among teenagers, though it affects people of all ages. Effective acne treatments are available, but acne can be persistent.
Treatments:
Acne can be treated by topical treatments such as gels, and creams. Depending on the severity of the acne it can also be treated with antibiotics such as Erythromycin and Lymecycline. For severe acne where topical treatments have not helped a treatment called Isotretinoin can be offered.
